Make a pledge to the Prince Theatre!

The Prince Theatre Foundation has launched a Capital Campaign to raise $750,000 to purchase the historic Prince Theatre in downtown Chestertown and ensure its future as a center for the arts for the upper eastern shore. 

The Capital Campaign will cover the cost to:

• purchase the theatre;

• perform necessary maintenance and routine upgrades;

• restore the theatre’s lobby as an entry and gathering place befitting this historic gem.

To accomplish these objectives, we need your support. 

With a successful Campaign, the next few years can be extraordinary for the performing arts on the Upper Eastern Shore.  Your participation in this Campaign will be critical to that success.  We must act now and work together to ensure the future of the Historic Prince Theatre as a center of cultural and community activity on the Upper Eastern Shore.
